Woke ready for the day ahead, only to be faced with torrential rain, lasted for most of the day. Not a good start :( Went to EGG, paid them for their hard work then organised to see 'Kejstral' go into the water. By the time we were taken to the hard standing......she was already en route to the Marina. What a shame, we did get to see her arrive at the pontoon and have her sails attached and hoisted which was great :). We left them to finish fiddling and went for lunch (tuna sandwiches and chips). Called into a boat hardware shop for a few bits too. Called into Jasmine apartments to let them know we were leaving, as they had kindly offered us storage of our car and extra night if needed, with them. We packed up and said goodbye, very grateful once again for their hospitality. Called back to EGG for handover and plan for our Marmaris visit. Staff took us through the controls and functions of each part, however chart plotter not switching on at all. Technicians arrived and removed offending article, will be back tomorrow morning apparently! Back to the car, belongings deposited into a trolley (with complimentary wobbly wheel), Between really heavy downpours, we managed to get everything inside before the next soaking. Spent a few hours unpacking and organising everything, good feeling to have your boat filled with your own stuff. Feeling exhausted we wandered out to get enough shopping for an evening snack, then settled down to toasted cheese sandwiches yum :). Showered at 8.30 pm, rain just stopping now, then off to bed for our first sleep on board.
